The pageant’s will be held on Sunday, August 19th, 2012 at the Hilton Hotel at Polaris, 8700 Lyra Drive Columbus, Ohio.  Interviews begin at 8am and the pageants will begin at 4pm. All Ohio and Michigan high school girls in grades 9 through 12 are eligible to compete in the High School America pageants.  All Ohio and Michigan college attendees are eligible for the Collegiate America pageants.

All entries are due by July 2nd,2012.  Entry forms and pageant details are available through Henri’s pageant website:  http://www.henrispageant.com The pageant entry fee is $195.  Pageant categories include interview,  evening gown, & fun fashion modeling and does not include a swim suit category.

The winners of each of the pageants will travel  to Walt Disney World,  March 2013 to compete in the national pageants representing the States of Ohio and Michigan. The winner of the Miss High School America Pageant and Miss Collegiate America pageants will receive additional prizes including:

• A $10,000 scholarship
• A photo shoot with top designers
• A feature spot in national prom national magazines
• Top 5 High School America winners will model in the 2013 Cool Book prom magazine
• Appearance Wardrobe

Miss Ohio Collegiate America and Miss Ohio High School America Pageant is a beauty pageant but goes beyond beauty emphasizing the importance of school achievement and community service. The winning pageant contestant will be responsible for organizing a local food drive to help stock the community food bank. The national winner will act as a spokesperson for Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. She will travel the nation making appearances to raise awareness and funds for the 35 million people who are at risk of hunger in America. http://feedingamerica.org/

Lynchburg-Clay senior, Lindsay Cater, captivated the audience and the judges, placing first to become Miss Ohio High School America 2010.  Lindsay will travel to Branson, Missouri in March to compete in the national competition to become Miss High School America.  Congrats, Lindsay!

Miss Ohio High School America 2010

The first event of the evening was, of course, the opening number.  The contestants were asked to wear a short gown that would show off their school colors.

Next, the girls moved on to the fun fashion competition where they would showcase creativity and personality through a fun outfit of their choice.

Each contestant displayed grace and elegance in the evening gown competition, the last of the categories of events.

Aunjunna’ Million of Middletown High School shined under the spotlight after
nabbing the crown on December 13th, 2009, as seen here.  She, along with all
of the other state representatives, will travel to Branson, Missouri on March 4,
2010 to compete for the title of Miss High School America. 

Aunjanna’ traveled to Branson, MO to compete in the National Pageant! She
Placed 3rd Runner up! We are so excited for her.  What an amazing job she did!
The top 5 at Miss High School America will be featured in the 2011 Cool Book.

These 51 beautiful young women will be representing their high school and state as they compete in three phases of competition. They will all have a five minute interview with the judges and compete onstage in both the Fashion and Evening Gown portion of the competition.

The new 2010 Miss High School America will be awarded a $10,000 scholarship, a photo shoot with designer Tony Bowls, a photo shoot with the leading prom and pageant manufacturer Jaszy Couture along side a prize package totaling over $20,000. The Top 5 contestants will be chosen to be the lead fashion models for the 2011 Cool Book. This publications is distributed to every junior and senior girl in high school. Over a million people will see the face of the Top 5 contestants of the Miss High School America Pageant.

During their stay in Branson, the delegates will attend an array of activities that will make their week more than a pageant – it will be a family vacation of a lifetime. One of the week’s highlights will be the contestants being special guests at Legends in Concert – the best show in Branson. The Miss High School America Pageant will set the stage for an exciting week to remember, as a true example of the best in pageantry. The Miss High School America production will also include some of the best entertainment that Branson has to offer.
